From Curiosity to Career: My Journey into the World of Digital Marketing
It all started with a question: “How do businesses become popular online?” I was browsing through websites and social media platforms a years ago. I saw that some businesses had a lot of followers. Their websites were on Google and their content was seen by millions of people. I wanted to know how they did it. Digital marketing is what I found out about. At first it was hard to understand. I heard terms like SEO and content marketing and social media strategy. I also heard about PPC advertising and analytics and branding. It sounded like a language.. I did not give up. I decided to learn one thing at a time. I started with Search Engine Optimization. I learned how search engines work and why keywords are important. I found out that good content helps websites rank higher. The more I read and watched the more I realized that digital marketing is not about selling things. It is about understanding people. Then I started making content and using media. I saw that good campaigns use creativity and strategy and continuous learning. Every time someone clicked or searched or interacted it told me something about what people do. There were times when things did not work out. Some things I tried did not work. Some content was not popular. There were times when learning was hard and progress was slow.. Every time I had a problem I learned something.. What I learned helped me next time. As I kept learning I found out something. Digital marketing is not about numbers and data. It is about trust and solving problems and connecting businesses with people. Today I am still learning about marketing. I am still curious. Every new thing that comes out is a chance to learn and grow. Whether it is SEO or content marketing or branding or social media I think that keeping learning is the key, to doing in the digital world. I am glad I asked that question a years ago. Because sometimes being curious can start a career. This is just the start of mine.
